Discover Leads from Events

Extract attendees from a LinkedIn event.

When to Use This

Event discovery extracts people attending a LinkedIn event. Attendees share a common interest (the event topic), making them a naturally targeted audience.

Examples: industry conferences, webinars, networking meetups, product launches.

How to Run Event Discovery

  1. Find the LinkedIn event page and copy its URL from the address bar.
  2. Go to Discovery → Lead Extractor → Events.
  3. Paste the event URL.
  4. Set the maximum number of attendees to extract.
  5. Choose a LinkedIn account to run the extraction.
  6. Select or create a lead list.
  7. Click Start Extraction.
ℹ️ The LinkedIn account you use must be able to view the event's attendee list. Some private events limit attendee visibility.

Best Practices

  • Target events where your ideal customer profile is likely to attend.
  • Mention the event in your outreach: "I saw you're attending [Event Name]..." creates instant context.
  • Run event discovery a few days before the event while the topic is still top of mind.
