Why Discovery Might Return Zero Leads
1. Invalid or Stale URL
LinkedIn URLs for searches, posts, events, and groups can expire or change. Always copy a fresh URL from your browser address bar immediately before starting the extraction.
Fix: Open LinkedIn again, navigate to the content, and copy the current URL.
2. LinkedIn Account Not Active
Discovery requires an Active LinkedIn account. If the selected account is Disconnected, Paused, or in Cooldown, the extraction cannot start.
Fix: Check account status in LinkedIn Accounts. Reconnect or wait for cooldown to end.
3. Account Lacks Access
- For Group discovery — the selected account must be a member of the group.
- For Sales Navigator discovery — the selected account must have an active Sales Navigator subscription.
- For Event discovery — the event's attendee list must be visible to the account.
4. LinkedIn Rate Limiting
If you've run many extractions recently, LinkedIn may temporarily throttle activity from that account.
Fix: Wait 24 hours and retry. Consider using a different LinkedIn account for the extraction.
5. Empty Search Results
Your filters may be too narrow. Relax one or two criteria and verify the results show leads in LinkedIn before re-running the extraction.
